Basic invention
Usually the production activities take place following the
customer's demand of a new product and are subsequent to
a first phase of basic invention. In this phase the Search
and Development Laboratory,
relying on personal intuitions or after market analysis
and/or on the customers advice, defines the possibility
of developing/searching new or innovative products and/or
of
proposing products already existing, always enforcing the
applicable rules according to the expected employment and
the relevant economic target.
Project planning
The Product Profile is used as Entry Element of the Design
on which the project is based.
The project is planned using a "Design Plan" where
are pointed out the different phases of the development and
the relevant time recording.
PLANNING
1) Customer's demand/ Basic ideas
2) Opening of the project
3) Draft of the design plan
4) General study of the product
5) Bibliographical research
6) Formulation development
- Samples production
- Definition of the Samples Test
- Execution of tests of the samples and checking of their
suitability according to:
• technical parameters
• employment parameters
• stability
7) Definition of the Prime cost
8) Realization of the industrial test
9) Definition of the production costs
10) Collection and/or sending of the technical documents
to the customer
11) Dossier Preparation (if it is stated by the contract)
12) Wrapping/packaging study
PLANING RESULTS (outgoing elements)
Planning results are expressed through different documents.
Usually all the following documents or part of them can be
the planning results:
• Detailed note of the product describing its general
and chemical-physical qualities.
• Quality and quantity formula.
• Preparation and packaging methods.
• The basic note of the finished product
• Control plan in acceptance for raw materials
• Control plan of the semi-finished products
• Control plan of the finished products
• Technical dossier including the evaluation of the product's
safety and effectiveness if the contract demands it.
• Designs or detailed notes of the packaging materials
(in case communicated by the providers).
• Technical and security reports of the raw materials.
PLANNING VALIDATION
The project is submitted to validation in order to verify
the real conformity of the product with the necessary requirements
once it will be manufactured and used.
